SLE0311 Designated Specialist Leaders in Education (SLE) Training

Our training is designed to enable Designated SLEs to provide School to School Support.

Our NCTL Quality Assured facilitators have expertise across many areas and will deliver NCTL approved training. The core da is designed to develop the skills, qualities and understanding required for an effective SLE. The day is an introduction to school to school support and the role of the Specialist Leader of Education (SLE). It provides SLEs with the essential information about the role and will equip them with the tools and techniques for effective school to school support. It also provides an opportunity to meet other SLEs.

Aims:

The aims of the training are:

• To understand the current climate involving school to school support.
• To appreciate the importance of an emotionally intelligent SLE
• To build a toolkit of skills to become an effective SLE
• To prepare SLEs for deployment.
